WORDS FOR REFLECTION
“Then [Jesus] opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. He told them, ‘This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead … I am going to send you what my Father has promised.’” —Luke 24:45-46, 49 (NIV)

WORDS FOR REFLECTION
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for see—I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord” (Luke 2:10-11, NRSV).

From the National Lay Director
As we enter the advent season in preparation for rejoicing in our Saviour’s birth, we can be grateful for so many things – Our life, our health and every good thing. As restrictions are reduced, my hope is that families and friends meet each other, rekindle relationships, and celebrate.
